“Le Petit Prince” is both a space for work, discovery and relaxation. This is the meeting place for students, teachers and all those interested in French culture.
The library offers a wide variety of books to borrow or to study on site: fiction, art books, plays, comics, children books, books for young adults, dictionaries and encyclopaedias etc.. and a whole section dedicated to Burmese study.
Twenty titles of dailies and weekly or monthly magazines are also available, covering a wide variety of areas.
Hundreds of DVDs from the classics of french 7th art and the most demanding art films can be rented from the library. It also offers many CDs covering all kinds of musics, from classical to the new french musical scene.
An adjoining room is provided for the multimedia, where registered members can use the Internet or work in peace and quiet at the seven available computers.

Library membership fees (per year):
12 000 Kyats (for Myanmar National) — 36 000 Kyats (expatriate) — 5 000 Kyats (IFB student)
Video membership fees (for 10 films):
3 000 Kyats (for Myanmar National) — 10 000 Kyats (expatriate)
Your membership to the library “Le Petit Prince” allows you to borrow:
4 books for two weeks;
3 magazines for one week;
2 CD for one week;
4 DVDs (for one week) with the video member card
Thank you for returning the books and the films on time! In case of late returns, a fine of 100 Kyats per day will be charged for each item.
Monday to Saturday : from 9 a.m. to 12:30 and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Closed on Sunday and some public holidays.
