&PROUD stands for the queer community in Myanmar. We are many and we’re a diverse bunch, but no matter how we identify: we are all proud.
We’re a non-profit and we’ve been organising cultural events for the LGBT community in Myanmar since 2014.
Our main activities are:
– &PROUD Film Festival – 27 January to 4 February 2018
– &PROUD Photo competition and exhibition – yearly in May
– Rainbow Reels – yearly filmmaking workshop producing short films
– &PROUD on the road – taking our films to colleagues and towns throughout Myanmar
