The library offers a wide variety of books to borrow or to study on the spot: books on fictions, novels, art books, plays, comics, children books, dictionaries and encyclopedias etc..and a section dedicated to Burmese study. Learner’s section and section for specific themes such as gastronomy, health,DIY, personal development are available to the public.
Daily, weekly and monthly magazines are also available, covering a wide variety of areas.
Hundreds of DVDs from the classics of French 7th art and the most demanding art films can be borrowed from the library. It also offers many CDs covering all kinds of music, from classical to the new French musical scene.
Freewifi connection is offered to the students and registered members can use 2 laptops and 8 tablets available in the Library. All members of the IFB Library and students have free access to the online library “Culturetheque”.

The Culturethèque, e-library for Myanmar has been created and you have access to e-documents to read, to listen to, and to watch video and to practice with self-study tools in the Library.

Library membership fees (per year):
15 000 Kyats (Myanmar National and Students of LFIR) — 36 000 Kyats (expatriate)
50 000 Kyat (Family member) 5 000 Kyats (Students of IFB)
– Video membership fees (for 10 films)
3 000 Kyats (for Myanmar National) — 10 000 Kyats (expatriate)
For individual member, “Le Petit Prince” Library allows you to borrow:
4 books, 3 magazines, 2 CD for two weeks;
4 DVDs for two weeks (with the video member card)
For family member, “Le Petit Prince” Library allows you to borrow:
9 books, 5 magazines, 2 CD for two weeks;
4 DVDs for two weeks (with the video member card)
Thank you for returning the books and the films on time! In case of late returns, a fine of 100 Kyats per day will be charged for each item.

Tuesday to Saturday | from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Closed on Sunday, Monday and public holidays.
